What happens when you visit this site

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and keep them secure, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not track you across sites. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

Videos, music players and forms from YouTube, Vimeo, Spotify, Bandcamp, SoundCloud and Tally load only after you click on them. From that moment the provider receives your IP address and may set cookies under its own privacy policy.

Enquiries and forms

When you send an enquiry through a form (Tally, data stored in the EU) or by email or WhatsApp, we use your details only to answer and organise your stay, retreat or project, and delete them when they are no longer needed.

Newsletter

If you sign up, we store your email address and name with our newsletter service (Sender, data stored in the EU) to send you news about Zee Barn. You confirm your sign-up by email, and every newsletter contains a link to unsubscribe at once. Sender also tells us whether a newsletter was opened and which links in it were clicked, so we can see what readers find useful.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to its use or withdraw your consent. You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD).
